Grand Plié a la Seconde—Pas de Bourreé—Glissade—Jeté—Assemblé

*Grand Plié a la Seconde is the founding step, the beginning. The opening act of a shopper’s plan is the store, the retailer, and the sales within.

*Pas de Bourreé are the steps between; clipping the coupons, watching the blogs, matching the ads.

*Glissade is the prep. Making a list and organizing a plan creates a graceful interlude for the main event.

*Jeté, the flying leap; the actual shopping trip.

*Assemblé, where everything comes together.

The finale takes place at center stage with the register, the sale, the coupons,

and the shopper taking a final bow. Let us dance our way to savings!

Walmart Bust!!

I'm still a newbie when it comes to couponing, so I'm giving out tips as I learn them.

Tip#1: If you want to do a good shopping trip at Walmart, hold your coupons(P&Gmostly) until a week or so into the month. The first and the end of the month gets the most traffic because People are excited to get the deals, and at the end of the month they are trying to use all they have left before they expire.

So after this Tip let me tell you about my Walmart Run that went Bust...

This was my list:

2 Tampax Pearl Compaks ($3.99)--- OUT
2 Crest tooth paste($.97)--- not big enough
2 Dawn+olay(CVSpm $.99)--- not the right size
2 J&J First-Aid kits($.97)--- we bought, no issues
4 Febreze NOTICEables($2.50)--- $2.97 - more expensive & OUT
2 Febreze refills($2.50)--- IDK - not worth buying w/o NOTICEable
2 Febreze w/gain($.97)--- $1.97 - More expensive & we bought
3 Cascade trial size($.97)--- shelf cleared
2 Tide single load($.97)--- shelf cleared

So I ended up with 2 J&J First-Aid kits and 2 Febreze w/Gain... and my mom asked me to get her ice cream... Final Total = $6.07

Miami Herald

Heads up Floridian!
It seems The Miami Herald doesn't always have the SmartSource Insert all the time. Several people last week didn't get any Coupons last week, and this week (Saturday) I got the P&G and RedPlum, but no SmartSource. I got 2 Sun Sential today and they did have SmartSource, so be careful folks!!

FYI... Sun Sential is raising their prices starting next week Sept. 4 the price will be $1.50 for Sunday's issues.

Publix Green Advantage Buy Flyers

These flyers can always be found on the Publix Information Center, a turnstyle with all of the current ads, coupons, and programs, by the front doors as you come in. The newest green flyer start today, Aug. 27, 2011, through Sept. 16, 2011 has plenty of great deals. The first one I noticed is the $2 off Degree or Dove Anti-Perspirant Deodorant 2.6-3oz. This could be very cheap, free, or a money maker if you play your coupons right!! In the 7/31 Redplum Insert there were several coupons for both of these items.

$1 off any Dove deodorant
Buy hers, get his free Dove Deodorant(up to $5.50)
$1 off any Degree premium deodorant
$.75 off any degree deodorant

Most of the Redplum coupons expire tomorrow Aug. 28, 2011 so USE THEM NOW!!!
*edit* More Degree deodorant coupons were in the 8/28 RedPlum insert, and they expire 9/25.

Remember Stacking Store/Competitor coupons with Vendor/Manufacturer's coupons is Totally A-Okay @ Publix. They want you to have Super Savings and to come back again!!

If I had a $1,000,000

I really wanted to keep this on one of the side bars, but couldn't figure out how so I'll put this here :)

No matter how much money we may have, couponing will give us more!
